Herman, whatever you did made a serious improvement. You can see SAA75 is being tracked by FAKM1 which is not the normal radar for flights out to the west. Yes, the flight is slightly south probably due to weather but well done on the mod :Smiley055:

From where FAKM1 is based, he should be getting good distances - that land is very flat around him :Smiley007:

I'm really impressed with your range and your uptime, HermanZA!

From the forums I've seen, it looks like you've been doing it all with [home-made j-pole] -> [rtl-sdr] -> [raspberry pi (dump1090)] -> [adsl], all from home? Or what else have you learnt / invested in?

Well thank you sir. Now I know who has been connected to my VRS the past few days.

We'll, main system is : [coco antenna 13m above ground] - [amp] - [RTL dongle] - [dump1090 on a linux box] - feeding to multiple sites and local software via ADSL.
